Sargent John D. Luthy of the United States Marie Corps is the creator of the Luthy shooting method, a point and shoot shooting method the closely resembles the Fairbairn, Sykes, and Applegate (FSA) method. At its core the Luthy method uses many of the same techniques as FSA. The difference is how the Luthy method employs advanced muscle memory techniques to make shooting much quicker and more accurate. John founded a company named Quick Reaction Training LLC and travels teaching his method.
